Rumination - for solo trumpet and piano
Rumination is about autumn—more particularly, my personal love for the season, especially as I had experienced it in my rural hometown of Boones Mill, VA. Crisp, calm, quiet. Always the distant, lingering smell of something burning. It has always been the time of year that I enjoy the most, when I've felt the most grounded and at peace.
